Should hair regulation be preserved?

There has been hair regulation in almost every middle and high school. In these schools, students have to cut their hair shortly. In these days, many people think that hair regulation shouldn’t be preserved, but it still doesn’t change. I think hair regulation shouldn’t be preserved, because of three reasons.

First, hair regulation damages to students’ human rights. In Constitution, there is a law, ‘All people have a freedom of their body.’ It doesn’t have any exception to students, so hair regulation is against the law. Also, having hair what each person wants doesn’t damage to any other people. Although older generation might not like their hair style, they can’t enforce them to do what they want. All people have rights to do what they want unless it damages to other person, and it doesn’t have exception to students.

Second, hair regulation doesn’t have any effect to studies. People who claim hair regulation should be preserved say that hair regulation is good for students’ studies. Then, what about schools in developed foreign country? Most of them don’t have hair regulation, but there are many excellent students. There is no reason that hair regulation is good for students’ studies. Also, they say long hair disturbs students from studying, but short hair can disturb students from studying, too. Factors that influence students’ studies are their patience and motive, not hair style. Also, it makes students undemocratic. Having hair regulation, they might think they don’t have power to change wrong institution.

Hair regulation damages to students’ human rights and limit their creativity. It is a bad rule to be disappeared.
